Updated swift version to 4.2.1 #149

This PR adds support to swift 4.2.

Many static vars were open, while a static is implicitly final. Silenced relative warnings by changing them to be public.

Just saw the approved PR for swift 4.2 (approved yesterday) this one has no reason to exist any longer.
