Is this repo useful? #23

We've had this repo around for a while. Only a minority of Prometheans make regular use of it. Which makes it only marginally useful for coordination of talk proposals.

Perhaps it's better to just mail prometheus-team@ to avoid overlapping talk proposals from team members?

Thoughts?

I think having this, or a sheet, is good. I hope to have a lot more time for community stuff once the data center is finished.

I lurked on this repo for the last few months, since I learnt/found about it. Maybe making it known to a wider audience, adds more value for everyone?! I like that that I get Github notifications, as I otherwise tend to forget looking at docs.

I'm watching this repo and find it useful, I haven't contributed because I've never given a Prometheus-related talk and not really giving any talks at the moment.

Let's give it another try. I'll improve the README and mail prometheus-team@ about it. I think we should also mail prometheus-developers@. What do others think about thot?

I have now also mailed prometheus-developers@. Let's see how things evolve and take a raincheck in a couple of months. I'll close this issue in the meantime.
