Sorry ... not a defect, but suggestions.

Agreed - Seeing only 4 actions is borderline useless. I would love to see a
scrollable widget in multiple size configurations... or better yet: Integration
with Pure Calendar Widget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a 4x4 widget I've created to harmonize fairly well with the Sense
widgets on my Desire. Heavily influenced by the Sense Agenda widget.
The graphics could be better I guess, but I don't have time to fix that now.

I'd like also option 3 to be implemented, as it would use the available
limited space better.

Hi, I have added two more widgets to the Shuffle source (SVN version 242).
These are clones of the original widget. I have labeled each of them with their
respective sizes (2x2, 2x3, 2x4). If you would like more help with the widget
portion of Shuffle, I may be able to carve out some time to work on it.
Also, should there be 3x4, 3x3 and/or 4x4 widgets too? Different styles?
Please let me know and thanks for developing this great app!

Re #6 -- great, should be useful!
On a related note, the widget provided by 1.6.3 (the version currently in the
Market) seems to scale well horizontally (as can be seen in e.g. ADW Launcher),
effectively allowing the user to create 2x3, 2x4 variations. However, it's
better to have these sizes directly accessible from the Add Widget menu since
this is what most apps tend to do these days.
More widget size would definitely come handy. Both the bigger ones, as you
suggest, and smaller ones, like 1x4 -- I'd love to have a minimalistic widget,
like the one from Smooth Calendar:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/smooth-calendar/se.catharsis.android.calendar
(this widget can be further customized to remove the calendar card and color
code the events)
My biggest wish, however, is the possibility to have widgets that show filtered
view, e.g. by context, project or tags. That would allow me to add multiple
widgets to the screen, each of them showing different data.

My mistake. I inadvertently interchanged the row and column lengths. These
widgets should be 4x2 and 3x2 (i.e. 4 rows and 2 columns). If incorporating the
patch into Shuffle, please change the identifier strings in the manifest.
I also agree with filter by context, projects, etc. I will take a look into it
and also try my hand at a minimalistic widget.

Matthew - thanks for the patch, but I'll look at finding a solution where I
don't copy and paste a bunch of classes 3 times :-)
Mikael - really nice job on the 4x4 widget. I'll look into adding this, but
will try and keep round the old style too.
I've added filtering to all views, but this issue reminds me - I need to add
these to the widget too.

What I would like is a 4x4 widget that allows me to scroll through the list.

+1 for scrolling. It would be great to scroll with a finger HTC Sense style,
and usual up/down buttons would also do. I think it is a must to scroll the
list in the widget!

Is there still development on this project? Is making the widget scrollable
possible/difficult?

Scrolling is impossible, at least with stock launcher. Paging buttons should be
fairly easy though. I'd love this feature too, but haven't had time lately to
fix it myself
