Expect many political attacks to something like this, what if government or powerful capitalists shut down the internet at the time of the POI party?, this shut down can be made in different countries each time a POI party happens, not in all the countries at the same time, to make it more difficult to detect by the system.

Anyway, detecting a massive amount of people not being able to assist to the POI party can invalidate the POI party and a new one can be issued, but the attack can be made again, this forces the POI parties to be made very often, complicating the life of the users.

ISPs blocking pirate websites demostrates how the powerful people can control the internet enough to make an attack like this.
