Describe the bug
At the university, we had a network outage for 2 days, and we noticed that Prostar is much slower without internet access.
In particular at the "Open MSnset file" stage, which takes ages before the Browser is displayed; and if you ever click on the "load" button, which is accessible well beforehand, the software is buggy/grey!
The hypothesis of our computer scientist is that maybe the software is trying to do updates and that this slows it down.
Anyway, we wanted to pass the info on to you.
On the other hand, during the same network outage, we were unable to perform quantile centering, which also caused Prostar to crash, but since the network came back it works.
For the time being, this behaviour seems more strange...
