Issue with TypeScript/JavaScript SDK #60

Closed leofmarciano closed 10 months ago

Hey folks, how's it going?

I'm trying to test your project, and I find it quite interesting!

However, I haven't had any success testing it yet. The TypeScript/JavaScript SDK simply doesn't work.

I attempted to compile it manually, but that didn't work either. Is there a place where I can follow the progress of the tool? I really like it and would like to implement it in our internal product in the near future if the evaluations turn out as expected.

Hi, that's great to hear you're interested. Could you give some more detail as to what issues you're encountering?

Ok, I saw your question on Discord. As to the rebuff npm package, it appears that so far, only a placeholder package has been published there. Issues https://github.com/protectai/rebuff/issues/53 and https://github.com/protectai/rebuff/issues/14 will address that.

In terms of compiling the SDK, it doesn't look like that is in a fully functional state yet either.

Thanks Risto! Yeah we'll have #53 completed in the next few days and will refactor the playground to use it / add instructions for installing.

Hi @leofmarciano we've published an updated npm package and refactored our rebuff server to use it as well. Please re-open this issue if you're still having issues #65 : https://www.npmjs.com/package/rebuff?activeTab=readme
