Protege's wiki states that since version 4.2, the desktop edition supports comparing of ontologies (a command from the Tools menu). There is even a nice YouTube video on that.
However, both in desktop version 5.5. and 5.6 this command/functionality is missing. I wasn't able to find any explanation in the wiki.
This is an extremely useful functionality. What happend and where can it be found?
I found out that one needs to install the OWL Difference Plug-in. Then the "Compare Ontologies" command appears under the Tools menu.
May I suggest that that the Protege OWL Diff wiki page is updated with the above info?
