INcorrect thumb image #687

1. Open a large (larger than the field) image for editing.
2. make it smaller than the field
3. Save

The thumb shows the full size image completely shaded.

I suspect the metadata is screwed because the image is incorrect in the preview 
too.

web_to_print_store_incl_theme   1.9.2.0alpha14 (alpha) 

Not clear on the bug it self. Correct me if I got it wrong.

- I uploaded a large image and opened image editor. The image is clearly larger 
than the field (smaller_sel_01.png)
- Without touching the FitInField nodes, I downsized the image it self, making 
it smaller than the selection (smaller_sel_02.png).
- After saving the changes, I get the full size thumb view 
(smaller_sel_03.png). Nothing different about how the thumbnail appears in the 
library.
- Updated preview, got the correct result.

Are you saying it shouldn't show the thumb in a reduced size after it being 
made smaller in the image editor?

Well, the thumb gives no indication about the image edits. That's all I'm 
saying.

Maybe something like this (smaller_thumb.png) could do the trick?

Agree with the above.
This was my point too.

Anatoly, make a fix if you can do it quickly or make it a new issue.
We got to get a beta out. Doesn't seem to be a show stopper.

Atanas, is there anything else in here or test OK?

Well this is the actual issue description, so this is where we stand:

1. The thumb is not fully shaded when the selection area is bigger then the 
image - Test OK

2. The thumb is simply shown in full just not shaded at all. We need to make it 
show as in comment #7 - More Work

Up to you guys weather you want to start a new issue or resolve here.
