Old image editing doesn't work on 2-step product

What do you mean? Image-edit works OK with 2-step products. There's no 
difference between 1- and 2-step product.

But I think template is broken or something else. I see fit-to-field cropping 
is working but positioning is not correct.

Sorry, my bad. Misunderstanding.
Image edit works same with 2step theme.
