Thumbs for smaller images #696

Images with metadata making them smaller than the placeholder should show 
proportionally smaller in the image lib strip.

Ideally, we need the thumb to display its real position/proportions the moment 
it is selected using either the metadata or the default rules.
Then the image resets to its normal thumb when deselected.
