PowerClip placeholder frame proportions #697

PowerClip image fields currently have their coordinated calculated according to
the image placeholder inside them. Is this the way to go?

A different issue drew my attention to this.
If a PowerClip container in the CorelDRAW template file has different
proportions than the variable image placeholder inside it, the FitInField
selection will also be disproportional.
Ex. This template:
http://d1.zetaprints.com/mageimage/index.php/magentot-03/powerclip-frame-test.ht
ml
has 3 PowerClip containers. Each is a perfect square shape. The image
placeholders inside them, however, are different. Top one is much wider than
its container (powerclip_frame.png), the middle one is much higher and the
bottom one is 1:1 proportional.
If you click on the first image (Horizontal), the FitInField selection will be
rectangular shape when in fact the frame in the template is square
(powerclip_frame_02.png).

Possible problem:
1. FitInField selection frame proportions will not be proportional to the
actual frame (visible area in the template) but to the placeholder inside it.

It is possible that we discussed this earlier as part of the "contextual crop"
tasks but I couldn't find any issues about it.

Hm. Yes, we go by the placeholder.
The clipping path can be anything. It can be a circle or an irregular shape.
De we need to update help for this or do you think we need to go by the
clipping path if it's rectangular?

I probably need to update PowerClip help posts:
http://www.zetaprints.com/help/power-clip-vs-simple-placeholder/
http://www.zetaprints.com/help/use-of-power-clip/
to warn about extremely disproportional image placeholders inside PowerClips.

This post already contains info on this issue (bottom of the post):
http://www.zetaprints.com/help/power-clip-vs-simple-placeholder/

Since this problem is also (and probably will be, most often) encountered as
part of Magento, I dedicated a section on it in this new post:
http://www.zetaprints.com/magentohelp/fit-in-field-image-editing/
