Describe the expected functionality
In some cases on the XL multitool, it would be great to be able to disable some tools to still be able to print with the other ones, while the disabled tools do not neet to be connected. Therefore, when an issue arises on one tool, you could just unplug it and try repairing it (or changing nozzle or other stuff, while still being able to print with the remaining toolheads. Currently , disconnecting a tool leads to a red-screen saying board not found. Instead, get a message saying "Toolhead X no communication possible. If the toolhead is disconnected, it can be disabled - Want to disable toolhead X now?" and then having yes/no option. And in the menu structure, have the possibility to disable and enable the single toolheads again (or do that automatically on the next reboot)
Reason I had a big failure on toolhead one and basically am blocked using the XL now because of not being able to let toolhead one connected
