Describe the bug

I am encountering an issue with my Prusa MK4 Kit when using the pause and resume feature during a print. The problem occurs under these specific conditions:

When I insert a pause point using Prusa Slicer and then resume the print: It appears that the printer does not extrude enough filament when resuming, causing the printer to start the next layer without proper filament flow. Filament only begins to extrude correctly after several centimeters of movement, leading to a noticeable gap or offset in the print.

This issue is affecting the quality of my prints, resulting in visible defects and instability in the printed objects. I need a solution for this as soon as possible.

How to reproduce

  1. Set up a print using the Prusa MK4 Kit.
  2. Insert a pause point using Prusa Slicer.
  3. Resume the print after the pause.
  4. Observe the lack of filament extrusion immediately after resuming and the resulting defect in the print.

Expected behavior

The printer should resume extrusion seamlessly after a pause inserted via Prusa Slicer, with no gaps or delays in filament flow.

I have already texted your support several times in the last months but didn't get any solution. In this Tickets you will find the gcode, that i have used.

Sure, I'm still waiting on you to fix it

Hey, this is rather inherent. As the pause happens, the filament keeps oozing a bit from the nozzle, so there's not enough afterwards after a resume. Ergo, you wait to prime the nozzle after a pause somehow to ensure good print.

I'd probably recommend either:
