Same thing here. Occurs in both 2.7.0-alpha1 and 2.6.1 OS = Windows 11 x64 To reproduce:

  1. Import attached STL engine_block1-_Split_Scaled.zip
  2. Click "Hollow & Drill"
  3. Enable "Hollow this object"
  4. Click "Slice now"

Crash happens when status shows "Generating support points: 46%". Drilling holes in the top and bottom doesn't seem to affect it. Pad below object or None doesn't affect it. Varying wall thickness (tried 1.0, 1.5, 3.0) doesn't affect it.
