Cut tool is lacking features available in Slic3r
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the Cut by Grid function from Slic3r to be included as an option in the cut tool.
Describe how it would work
In Slic3r the cut by grid provides input boxes for X and Y width of tiles(max part size) then evenly cuts the model in the X and Y directions to provide the desired part size.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have used Slic3r to pre-cut my files.
Additional context
Slic3r also provides a Z cut. Unfortunately, it does not cut Z by grid, which would be useful for tall parts.
This feature would make it much easier for small printers to print objects larger than their print beds and for large printers to print objects much much larger than their print beds.
