I've found that when small perimeters speed is activated, there are some issues on the external surface. The speed change is very visible, almost every time, like a sort of horizontal banding.
Probably, there is too much difference in speeds between perimeters and small perimeters, for an external wall.
So, what I'm asking is:
1) how to disable the small perimeter speed? I can't set a fixed speed because it depends on the location being printed in that moment. External perimeter has a different speed than internal perimeters but we only have a single small perimeters speed. Sometime could be useful to totally disable the small perimeters detection and keep the print going as usual
2) Can we add 2 different speeds for small perimeters? 1 for internal perimeter of the small perimeter and one for the external. Or a single % based on the current printing position. Actually, when a % value is used, it's relative to the internal perimeter, but what about the external one ?
I'm trying to get a smooth external surface and every time the small perimeters is triggered, there are some issue. tried with multiple printers (Geetech A10, Geeetech A20, Anycubic i3 Mega, Ender3) with the same exact results.
Any thought on this ? The current small perimeters feature is getting me crazy, it add a lot of artefact in my prints and there is no way to disable it
