To me this sounds like a feature, to be used in a modelling software. Some of them offer the option to import pictures and assign real world dimensions to show them with the correct size. Beside this, there is already an option to scale objects precisely. Once scaling has been activated for an object, you can enter the expected x, y or z dimension. Rotating the object before scaling helps to get x, y or z parallel to your reference dimension.
Example: Simple Box rotated by 45 degrees, set x=25 while scaling allows to declare size of the box based on length of diagonale
This is a new feature request.
I'd like the ability to import an image into Prusaslicer so I can compare images against the STL files as they are oriented and scaled, ready to be printed.
