PrusaSlicer is inconsistent in auto-applying current Variable Layer Height adaptive setting when switching Print Profiles #6969

Version

Version 2.4.0-alpha1+win64

Operating system type + version

Windows 64 bit

3D printer brand / version + firmware version (if known)

Prusa MK3S+

Behavior

When having Variable Layer Height enabled and pressing the "Adaptive" button after selecting a point on the Quality/Speed range bar, and then switching to a different Print Settings profile, sometimes the specified Adaptive value is auto-applied to the selected Print Profile automatically, while other times the Print Profile still displays the previously used Adaptive value for that profile and the "Adaptive" button must be pressed again to apply the currently specified value.

When setting the Adaptive value to 0.00 and applying, that value was also auto applied to any Print Profile that I switched to. Changing it to an Adaptive value of 1.00 showed the same behavior, being auto-applied when changing profiles. However, selecting and applying a Adaptive value of 0.50 was reflected in the current profile, but was not auto-applied to any profiles I then switched to. I needed to press the "Adaptive" button again to apply the new value of 0.50 to the selected Print profile.

Project File (.3MF) where problem occurs

N/A (This was observed across multiple Print Profiles which were saved and based off the included Prusa MK3S+ Print Profiles.

Would you please provide a 3MF and couple of screenshots?

The variable layer height profile is currently being maintained when switching print profiles.
