I cannot reproduce this issue with my USB 2 hub.
Do you have this issue with older PrusaSlicer as well?

2.4.0-beta1 Version of PrusaSlicer used goes here
Use About->About PrusaSlicer for release versions
For -dev versions, use git describe --tag or get the hash value for the version you downloaded or git rev-parse HEAD
Windoze 10, 64 bit What OS are you using, and state any version #s In case of 3D rendering issues, please attach the content of menu Help -> System Info dialog
Prusa Mini/stock/FW 4.3.3 What 3D printer brand / version are you printing on, is it a stock model or did you modify the printer, what firmware is running on your printer, version of the firmware #s
After exporting the gcode to a USB stick, and the USB "eject" button within the slicer is clicked, the following error message appears: "Ejecting of device has failed", IF the The USB stick is connected to the computer through a USB hub. The message DOES NOT APPEAR if the stick is connected directly to a dedicated USB port. Previous versions did not display this message under this circumstance. Appearance of the message notwithstanding, it appears the "ejection" function has, none-the-less, been accomplished as it no longer appears as a drive under "Computer". This is a fairly old (at least 5 years) hub, so I cannot isolate whether it is an issue with the hub (have not tested with a newer hub) or is a bug in the slicer. No issue with "ejecting" an SD card has been noticed as it goes directly into the SD card slot in the computer, and I have not tried connecting/ejecting an SD card through an external card reader.

No, I did not have this issue with older versions. I will experiment with another hub to see if I can more precisely define the extent of the issue.
