Upload to Google Docs creates a new file instead of modifying an old file #35

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download a document stored in Google Docs.
2. Modify the document in OpenOffice.org
3. Upload the document back to Google Docs with an identical file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the old version on Google Docs to be edited/modified with
the modifications I made to the file I just downloaded from Google Docs.
Especially as I expect to me modifying files that are shared as
collaborations, this is important, as the newly uploaded file does not have
any of the shares/permissions of the old (still existing file).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OpenOffice.org 2.4 and gdocs-0.9.3.oxt

Please provide any additional information below.

Google Docs doesn't support it yet. It's open issue to implement this feature in
Google Docs, voting for this issue is possible on side

True... People who use Google Docs seriously would need this support. This
would mean
kind of like a sync facility or thereof. But when the filenames are same, it
would be
great if the old file just got modified with the one which we are uploading to
GDocs.

Thanks for this great tool and wish you all the very best ...

I hope soon ;-)
I need free time to check if currently available versions of Client libraries
can do
it, and if Client libraries can I will try to implement this.
