I´m using the latest upstream version of libtiff however it works also with the latest tagged version. I´m doing this because very soon i will open a pull request for ps2sdk-ports that migrates 3 dependencies to cmake that includes: libtiff, libexpat and libconfig It requires:

libtiff_ps2_addons(closed source atm)
liblzma
