@ross3695 could you please confirm that this bug still persis in the latest beta?
just tried the beta (specifically v1.1.0-Beta-1697-70ed88a) but all I get now is a black screen, no GUI either, it just freezes no matter which USB I try, and I also tried both Fortuna and wLaunchELF but both freeze too
I used to use a 5000x model phat PS2 with freemcboot and OPL worked fine, but after I moved everything over to a 90004 slim(using Fortuna to boot OPL), most of my games fail to launch properly or they glitch and hang very early(i.e straight after the opening fmvs and the logos). I've tried a UL game, a couple DVD games and a CD game, but only the CD game has managed to boot all the way into the title screen. The others either crashed in intros or they failed to launch at all, and the results varried sometimes. They are definitely compatible with OPL because as I said, they worked fine on the phat, and I also checksummed the elf and games which all gave me a correct match. The OPL GUI itself launches and works fine from Fortuna, it just has trouble with the games. , Configuration (please complete the following information):
Console Model: SCPH-90004
Open PS2 Loader revision: OPL 1.0.0 Stable
Open PS2 Loader mode: USB
Information about affected games (if any): link to redump.org or game serial: Ape Escape 2(SCES_508.85), DVD, made it to the first opening fmv then crashed after it
WWE SVR 2006(SLES_536.76), big DVD just barely fits into a plain iso, often fails to launch at all but at best crashes past the memory card screen(VMC still appears to work fine though)
(I forgot actually, just some split DVD in UL format) failed to boot at all
Crash: Wrath of Cortex(SLES_503.86) CD, made it to the title screen but I switched it off afterwards, it was just a test
Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. Just for the games to work, like they did before on the phat.
Additional context I was using the same USB drive on the phat with no big issues and it was working normally with the same games, and it booted OPL through freemcboot(and slim boots it through fortuna). I assumed the slim just had underpowered USB ports, but the drive definitelly functions in other areas on the same PS2, including the OPL GUI, and it even played a heavy fmv without any skipping. The drive is a Toshiba Canvio Basics HDTB410EK3AA with 1TB of space and formatted to FAT32 with 64K clusters
