Describe the issue

Whenever I boot Resident Evil Code Veronica x from OPL, the Dualshock 2 or Dualshock 1 stops working same I plug it out and in again. I'm using a legit black dualshock 2 or legit gray dualshock 1 and my network adapter is also the sony official IDE with seagate hd 500GB . Also, the analog LED is turned on so the console is detecting it but I guess something bugs out while booting it and the game doesn't recognize it same I plug it in again. I have this problem with Gran Turismo 4 SCUS_97328 and i see the issue information for activate Mode 6 (Disable IGR), this problem his resolved with Gran Turismo 4 to me but this problem continue with Resident Evil Code Veronica X.

This seems to be the only game where this happens and i don't know to resolve.

Console model

SCPH-50001

In which device(s) have you experienced this issue?

I tested RE Code Veronica X [SLUS_201.84] with [OPL-v1.2.0-Beta-1940-d58e721] from USB with a 79001, 39001 and 50010 models and it worked fine on all (no modes enabled). GT4 doesn't recognize the Dualshock 2 unless you use mode 6 (with mode 6 disable you need to unplug and replug the controller and with that it works) (extra notes, one usb with fat32 and other with exfat partitions, my memory card has no RE CV X save game on it. If you need i can upload some photos) Sorry for my bad english and Bye!

I also have some questions to ask you, here they are:

  • Did you use WinHIIP to put the game on your HD?
  • Is your HD internal or external?
  • If your hard drive is internal, is your Network Modem Adapter original from Sony or parallel, and is your connection IDE or SATA?

In your description, you put that the problem was found on USB, however, your description sounds like you used HDD to test the games, where exactly was the test location that the problems occurred?

Sorry for my bad english, i actually tested in both. I used USB Util to put the game on the pendrive to test via USB and I used WinHIIP to put it on the IDE internal HDD.
