just trying to use on a v4 and detects as g-chassis.. should be d-chassis. appears the mechcon ic is unknown model from output below.

console would have had lens changer run on it previous. if makes diff and somehow corrupted something. other ones had used on previous was no worries, though a F and G chassis

mechcon in unit. has magic ice chip install. dont think the issue, 2x v5/6 and v7 both had magic ice chips and np to use pmap.

ok some more testing. v3 was cooked for working with crossing rev but did note mechcon version. had a backup of eeprom for v3 so flashed and was able use no worries. thinking problem is the lenscharger use. Any chance someone share a d-chassis 30002 gh-10 eeprom so i can get it back in spec n check??? lenscharger was best it got mid ps2 life n nothing before hence have been used. must say pmap is so much better, wish was round when current gen.

issue was corrupted eeprom due to lenschanger. adjusted from source and ps2 dev wiki how should be. all working ripper. :) sorry for false issue
