Allow us to type in a date in the 1st thru 4th ages and include the phases of the moon in the results. Those who write fan fiction or run rpg sessions would find this really handy!

As mentioned in #12, this might be possible as another example of how this project could be integrated with another library that can calculate the moon phases, but that is currently out of the scope of my free time 😅

In the meantime, you can do it manually the way I do it: First you'll need an app or a site that can lookup the moon phases for a modern date. I like Stellarium, but a site like timeanddate.com would work too.

Then find a Shire date you are interested in knowing the moon phase for, using my simulation synced with the 1941-42 moon phases (for the most accurate moon phase for a given Middle-earth date).

Then use the corresponding modern, Gregorian date to lookup the moon phase with your app of choice.

For example, my simulation syncs the date Sam departed Middle-earth, S.R. 1482 September (Halimath) 22 with the modern date of 2005 September 16, which Stellarium tells me was a waxing gibbous moon (just 1 day before full) 🌔!
