I've been looking at your LTCII diagrams and they look great, Paul. What does Rocket Ready actually do though?
There is a wire, physically, that comes from the rocket into the LTC via the umbilical cable. This goes to it's own relay in the igniter circuit making it an independent launch condition.
Software on the rocket has to hold that line high for the igniter to fire. So it's to tell the LTC the "rocket is ready" to launch.
Exported LTC II Eagle schematics to PNG and saved them in ltc3/doc/ltc2_review
. These are perfectly useful. No reason to create new diagrams.
Existing docs do not make it easy for new engineers to gain a high-level understanding of how LTC II works. Create a functional diagram of LTC II, based on info gleaned from existing connection schematic, etc.
Preferably update ./launch-tower/LTC\ Whole\ System\ Schematic
