IFF Blocking a Rek

IFF lock is messed up. It Opens for Owning faction,. Emy Faction goes to try and hack it and Fails to open, When Base is Hacked Iff is by passed and works as intended.

Testing this on our current live patch;

• Was able to replicate on Tara generator door, was unable to replicate on other doors
• Was unable to replicate on the nearby Wakea

I suspect that this has something to do with the base being neutral or the gen being blown previously? Last night the gen/tubes were down at Tara and the base was neutral, I presume Lazer came and captured the base (to get that sweet ANT BEP) and then discovered this.

Wanted to try another base I knew had been neutral recently but couldn't recall the exact one, so would recommend making a base neutral and then capturing it (and maybe blowing the gen) to attempt to reproduce.

I Ran in to this yesterday during the fight, The base was VS when i logged on, so something with ownership? The Base you are talking about is Mukuru on Cyssor since i filled to today yea for --> (to get that sweet ANT BEP) got br16.. Also noticed something with the Cave Lock as well today seeing if i can replicate it now

did in fact find somthing with the Cave Locks as well that is Odd..

So I was looking into it at Tara Searhus since we've identified that facility as the issue.

After confirming the original issue does exist with minimal changes to states, I used /destroy to get the GUID of the elements at play. The generator door is GUID#631 and is located at approximately 1145 4158 46. The nearby IFF lock is GUID#1006 and is located at approximately ... 1143 4508 62. The closest door to 1143 4508 62 is the northern ground floor door at the Tara field tower. Setting appropriate faction opposed states for the facility and the tower, redoing the hacking test at the generator room, and warping around confirms that that generator room IFF lock affects access to the tower door.

The IFF lock next to the ground level tower door affects the roof tower door on the same side. The IFF lock next to the roof tower door affects ... something else maybe? The trail goes cold there.

Yeah, some entities between Tara and its field tower are out of order, and I can't even entirely blame this on elements on the same map axis.

at least we know where that tower top IFF goes to now !! (
