Can you look XEP-0016 version? At this time, the latest is 1.7 but there is the 1.6:

Can you edit in the .doap file, what is the version supported?

what for? I don't understand your point. 1.7 is just about deprecation. It's pointless to update anything for that. Please stop creating issues without any research.
