Thanks. Looks like cache file is somehow damaged and this is not handled properly. I'll try to fix it tomorrow.
Btw if you can compile in debug mode and then do "bt full" in the debugger, that would be helpful
How do i switch to debug mode?
It depends on how you compile. If with configure script, then it has --debug флаг. For cmake you can try -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug
Just for a note: our PPA includes packages with debug symbols. See for details: https://launchpad.net/~psi-plus
Any news? Should we close this ticket?
@ladmanj: What is the current situation?
@ladmanj: What is the current situation?
Not using psi since. Not using jabber any more at all because of the unmanageable amount of spam.
from what I can see that was fixed a few years ago. seem like I missed update on this issue in 2018
wrt spam, doesn't happen to me even w/o any protection. but we have antispam plugin.
@ladmanj: Thanks for your answer! :)
I use the "Stop Spam" plugin, please look again, there are a lot of improvements since your 2018 ticket.

This version is from ubuntu ppa, but same result when compiled manually from git head. Many thanks for fixing it.
