no messages in the chat #801

I send a message to psi-plus, but there is no message in the chat, there is only a message in the form of an inscription that the message has been received but the chat is empty

Just a wild guess. The message was sent with omemo enabled, but the keys weren't accepted. Just try again w/o encryption. And we can quickly answer all your questions in our conference psi-dev@conference.jabber.ru

it might still be some encryption problem. does it work w/o encryption? does it work if the sender and the received both use the same version of Psi?

it does not depend on encryption. the PSI version is the same

I can't reproduce this. Incoming messages appear instantly for me and the notification area is cleaned up as soon as I focus the window with just received message(s).

Поставила Psi портативную версию, ввела данные от аккаунта. запустила приложение подтвердила все ключи в обе стороны, перезагрузила Psi и начинаю получать сообщения из Miranda NG от собеседника и вижу что они не доходят как нужно. Всё.

Все настройки чистые по умолчанию

А можно xml лог без шифрования? Хотя бы на одно недошедшее сообщение. ключить xml логирование можно в контектом меню на аккаунте в ростере.

Вот так приходят сообщения которые невидно, есть только в ростере заметка что пришло сообщение.

Если я правильно понял, шифрование в миранде отключить не удалось. Так что проблема таки может быть как-то связана с шифрованием

шифрование всегда по умолчанию включено и без него не используется ничего. я не совсем понимаю как тут шифровани может влиять? это же тоже самое сообщение только зашифровано.

в частности омемо может игнорировать сообщения, если что-то пошло не так с ключами. поэтому и интересует, работает ли в случае когда шифрование полностью отключено со все сторон. если работает, то дальше надо проблему искать в плагина шифрования. А так пока непонятно.

before checking and testing, please tell me the versions for linux and windows are built from the same source codes? I have tested on linux in the past, can I test on windows or are these different source codes?

Код для винды и линя один и тот же с небольшим количеством ифдефов

Вообще если в личке с тем же контактом (с обоюдной подпиской) и шифрованием сообщения ходят нормально то это явно пси баг связанный с шифрованием в групчатах.

Доверие в групчатах штука очень тонкая, так как очень легко получить импостера. Я не помню реализован ли у нас механизм доверяэтя ключам от неизвестных участников чата.
