[wayland] - application drop down menus only display on first click and no other menu can display

Hello there,

This is what I use right now:

• Plasma 5.25.2
• QT 5.15.5
• Window AppMenu 0.8.0 (non-git) with Show Full Application Menu option
• Latte-dock 0.10.8-1.1 (non-git, but same issue with git version)

ISSUE When selecting a menu, say the TOOLS menu, clicking on it will display the menu. Then if I hover to any other menu, it won't display that menu, it will only select the name with highlighted color around it. In the meantime it also closed the original menu I had clicked first. If I click on any other menu, it also won't display the menu. If I come back to the original clicked menu (TOOLS in this example), it won't re-display it either.

I have to click outside the application so that AppMenu doesn't display the application's menus, then come back on the application and select another menu from AppMenu.

If I try the hamburger menu (Single Button for Application Menu option) instead of the Full Application Menu, it behaves differently. It opens up a Latte-dock dialog window in the center of my screen (I use Plasma's Centered Windows option) and it lists the menu inside that window. Then if I want to select another menu it closes the one opened and also closes the Menu list from AppMenu, so again I have to click the hamburger menu and quickly hover down the list to select the menu I want.

Very difficult to work around this.

Not sure what type of log data I could provide.

Note: This behavior does NOT happen at all under Xorg.

I encountered the same problem, and clicking on the menu item is odd then hover odd menu will be displayed, clicking on an even number of menu items hover will display an even number of menus
