Detection function for visual vs auditory detections

I wonder whether EDR for vocalizations vs movement related detections would follow a different detection function depending on size of the bird and coloring relative to background.

Can apply tau on subsets of animate values, and allow tau to be a 2x3 matrix:

• length(tau)=1: constant
• length(tau)=2: auditory+visual
• length(tau)=3: H/E/R
• length(tau)=2*3 [2x3 matrix]: combo of HER and a/v
