They were never added when you added the feature.

Thumbs were not originally intended to be added (i.e.: not a defect), but I will accept
the feature request to expand on fanart.tv integration.  :)

Any chance of getting this in the next release also?

I wasn't planning on it -- is there anything special or interesting about the movie poster images from FanArt.tv that are better than the available options?

Just a view option in Emby. If you don't enable Emby to "Download artwork and metadata from the internet" and only use what MCM provides you don't get these images.
