Due to various ISP's on certain countries blocking access to specific torrent sites (preventing searches by MCM) as well as just wanting to stay anonymous on a per application basis, I think it would be beneficial for MCM to have native Socks5 support along with w/ remote DNS requests going through the Socks5 as well.
This would give the user an alternative to running VPN and also allow them to set a dedicated proxy for MCM instead of a system-wide one.
