I have been looking around the net and have found that currently XMBC has 
scrapers for Music Video - they scrap the MTV site as there main source for MV.

MTV now have released an API for music video

Sorry, darren, but that won't help.

That API is about 2 years old and only searches for artists and videos (still). 
 They ever added albums or songs that don't have videos.  There's a bunch of 
test searches that don't even pull up popular songs.  They pulled the forums 
and apparently just stopped supporting this.

If anyone else has any API info, let me know, otherwise this is still going to 
be a long time coming.

This would be a great addition, much of the video dvd's i have also have a 
rating/page on IMDB. However, this doesn't seem to work as expected. Fetching 
as movie does not result in metadata being downloaded.

Hi Pete,

Has there been any progress on this request as I myself am finding that Music 
Videos are becoming a much larger part of my Media Centre Experience and if MCM 
could handle it the same as it does everything else it would make my life and 
many others easier

If you do a Google search for Music Video database or MVDatabase there are a 
few results that come up that easily handled test searches I threw at them 
yesterday!!

Short time user but am absolutely loving the system.. Music Video fetching 
would be the best feature.. I currently have about 1000 MV's and compared to my 
movies and TV that MCM handles it looks like crap. Any chance of a higher 
priority??
