update mbedtls to 2.16.12 #143

Thanks for the PR. I don't think we should be removing PolarSSL. Otherwise I think this looks fine.

PolarSSL is Mbed TLS, it was renamed since version 1.3.10. Since version 2.1.0, it is also available under Apache License v2.0, previously only GPL v2. No software relies on these old versions anymore, so I don't think there's any reason to keep it.

Okay, I was not aware of that. Then I guess this should be safe to merge.
