Pearl Daugherty is writing a data management plan for the first time. Although it is only a two page document, and seems fairly simple to write she is finding it a bit daunting. She has talked to a few of her colleagues and gotten a variety of comments ranging from "no one reads thems" to "my DMP was given several favorable comments and I think it really helped get the grant" to "my DMP was criticized for not being open enough". She has asked colleagues for copies, and again sees a lot of variation. She would like guidance on what to put in hers, be able to see more of those being written as well as hear about the comments, and also be able to share and edit her DMP with her collaborators.
