Trying to find data for my thesis #49

Ron Kris is an honor student in Political Science taking his first research methods course as a Junior, This course is intended to introduce him to the structure of written scholarship as well as help him get started in developing a proposal for his honors thesis. His adviser wants him to identify a topic along with requisite data that he needs to bring for his next meeting. He has been told to come to the library where subject specialist will help him find potential data for his topic.

Ron's topic is extremely vague, but he needs to bring potential data for his meeting with his adviser which is next week. He has schedule his first meeting with a librarian for one hour and needs to get to a class following the meeting.

The problem here I think is assistance in finding the right data repositories, and relevant data sets.
