Difficulty replicating results and viewing data due to software dependencies #61

User has found some data on hard disks that she would like to use. However, the data is from the 1990s. Many of the files require software that is no longer in use, such a out date spreadsheet software. She has found a copy of the software, but it doesn't run on her computer. Also it is on 3.5 inch floppies which she doesn't have a drive for that. She is realizing that the data has a fairly substantial network of dependencies. At the same time, she wants to avoid her data falling into the same trap.

The problem is sharing and storing data for long term.

@olendorf I am not sure if 'data analysis' label is apt here. I put it because she was looking to find a way to access the old data
