How do I map ticket sales for sports marketing and teach this to students? #91

A faculty-member in the Statistics department guest-teaches a sports analytics course in the Marketing department and wants to include a hands-on lab to teach students how to map the geographic coverage of ticket sales in order to target new marketing campaigns on emerging markets. He has no experience with GIS, but does have descent data skills and a real dataset to use for the lab.

He is enthusiastic and interested in learning the technology himself, but is unsure whether he can learn it quickly enough to teach the lab to his course this semester. It is Spring Break and he wants to incorporate the lab into his course the second week after break.
