How do I build an ecological niche model for two insect species? #94

Research staff working in the Frost Entomological Museum has transcribed thousands of locations of dragonfly and damselfly locations around the world and would like to build an ecological niche model using environmental variables that explain their presence and can focus future potential field sites.

She has limited GIS and statistical experience, but is aware of R packages that claim to build niche models for you and they look pretty easy and straight-forward to use.

She is planning to present her niche-modeling results at a conference in 3wks.
