Blinks identified as saccades #26

I'm here asking for your help one more time :) Running the algorithm in my data I noticed that almost all blinks are identified as saccades. Does anyone know a clean way to get around this problem?

Here goes an example: image The four highest peaks are blinks but are being misclassified as saccades.

Thanks in advance!

I suggest you to plot the saccadic main sequence, normally there should be a linear relationship between saccade amplitude and peak saccade velocity. Blinks mis-identified as saccades may be outliers in the plot.

I am no expert, but it seems that there are no collection gaps when the blinks occur. It seems like that you interpolated missing values? If I am not mistaken, you should include missing values as nan.
