Auto-Mark Duplicates Affects Feeds Before User Reads Them #546

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 Pro x64 (QRSS 0.15.3 revision 3240)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Sign up for duplicate newsfeeds (like, say, Geek.com and Gizmodo where they
sometimes use the same news source)
2. Set the option: Options > Feeds > Reading > "Automatically mark identical
news as read"
3. Go to the feed summary
4. You see news there that you haven't read (brand new news, too!), but is
marked read.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the "identical news" to be unread until I read one copy.
However, being a programmer, I can't imagine how this could be done easily - it
seems like it would require the program to set a "duplicate" flag, and then,
once the news is marked read by the user, then it locates all the flags and
marks them read, too.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to implement.

As a compromise the following suggestion:
1) Not to interpret news as duplicate if found copy is unread. In this case
there will be two identical unread news.
2) The second step is to mark read all the news with title identical to current
one.
