What version of ElectricSleep are you using?
Freeversion
On what android device and android version?
Backflip

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Whenever I try to use sleep tracking system
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to start tracking and turn offf the screen so I can go to sleep.  
Instead when I have your software running the screen keeps turning itself back 
on every 3 seconds.  Couldn't be more annoying.

Please provide any additional information below.

It is my fault for not explaining this more clearly in the app, but my software 
has detected that your phone can't track sleep with the screen off (in your 
case, it is due to a bug in Android 2.1). You can try going into settings and 
unchecking 'Force screen on' but this will probably cause accelerometer data to 
never be recorded.

In short, keeping the screen on is the only reliable workaround. Sorry.
