steamwebhelper requires the Sniper steam runtime. Not found at /home/paul/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/steam-runtime-sniper, there is a problem with your installation, aborting. #1613

Problem

I have kubuntu installed on my switch 24.04 and ive been trying to install steam after installing it gives 

steamwebhelper requires the Sniper steam runtime.

Not found at /home/paul/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/steam-runtime-sniper, there is a problem with your installation, aborting.

Logs when running steam -console

This has been happening ever since i got ubuntu 22.04 about 6 months ago sorry for any grammar mistakes i typed this on switch

I have tried launching without gpu accelration Browser sandboxing disabled Restarting steamwebhelper and running with -cef-disable-gpu -cef-disable-gpu-compositor

When did it start

Never worked from when i first got linux on my switch 22.04 about 6months ago
