Riven (Steam - 2024 Remaster) #507

Description

Got to 'Loading' screen then locked up. When it launches, there is sound, but during an opening cinematic it is just a white screen before the 'Loading' animation.

Tried launching 5 or 6 times before I gave up.

Tested on

ADLINK Ampere Altra Max Developer workstation: M128-28 CPU and Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti graphics card on Ubuntu Linux 22.04.

Previous behavior

None reported.

Current behavior

Will not launch, freezes while 'Loading' screen with Atrus' animated arm is showing.

I don't own this game on steam (only the original Riven on GOG), so I can't test. It might be a strongmem issue, so might need to create a ~/.box64rc file and add a section with the name of the main binary (wich I assume is a windows exe?) and add BOX64_DYNAREC_STRONGMEM=1 there.
