Solaris 10 pdf issue #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I am using JDK 1.4 and OpenOffice 2.4.0 to crate indic language PDF.
Everything worked fine in windows environment. The same app is not working
in solaris. It is showing some junk characters in case of indic languages...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The app should work in solaris as it is working in windows..

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

JDK 1.4 (bea 8.1 sp2)
OpenOffice 2.4.x
solaris 10

Please provide any additional information below.

I created a client which uses the openoffice to create a odt doc and then
export that to PDF.

Everything worked fine for most of the indian languages in windows
environment. But the same client generated junk character PDFs in solaris
environment.

Junk character problem got solved.. I just added the Arial UNICODE font to
openoffice
in solaris..

But in language other than hindi, the words are breaking at the end of the line
and
also showing some extra characters in the next line..

I checked the .odt format(created in solaris) in solaris.. And the odt is just
as the
attached pdf(with extra character). But the same odt is not showing the extra
characters in windows (same version of openoffice), but word breaking is still
there..

Any suggestion will be appreciated..
