what is the login and password for precise64 VM? #106

Finally I was able to bring up the VM on my windows machine. But it does not login - it is asking for username and password. Where will I find it?

Hi Shankar - you will be glad to know that you can just use Vagrant to do the login for you. From the same directory that you typed "vagrant up", just type "vagrant ssh" to login to the VM. However, bear in mind that you shouldn't have to login to the VM at all unless you just want to do this to explore or use it for other purposes. All of the work for the book itself can be accomplished through the IPython Notebook UI.

Can I use VMware instead of VirtualBox? Had success with the former and can't get VirtualBox to work. Thanks.

Yes, you can use VMware. Read here : https://www.vagrantup.com/docs/vmware/boxes.html

We can use Vagrant ssh , but still how to login via UI , where it is asking for username and password

The default username and password are both vagrant if someone else find this useful.

I tried 'vagrant' on a whim, and it worked for me
