Vangrant up in Win8 failed according to the steps #262

I follow the steps in the below web page to create the vm enviroment on my win8, but failed. https://rawgit.com/ptwobrussell/Mining-the-Social-Web-2nd-Edition/master/ipynb/html/_Appendix%20A%20-%20Virtual%20Machine%20Experience.html

It has finished donwloading the vm but fail in installing or setting it. I was wondering if there is anybody still using win8 as platform for this? because it seems nobody update the steps for windows.

Same problem here... I will try to install it in linux because I think the problem is not windows. I think the problem is the version of vagrant.

Hey there! If you can elaborate a bit I be happy to see if I can help going through my recent experience on setting the environment up.

Be happy if you can provide some of the error screnshots or reply from the console.

Hi, I solved this problem two days after I post it. Sorry, I should report the solution earlier. Yes, it is a problem of vagrant. I solved it by chosen the lower version of vagrant. I will send out a more detail notes if I find tonight.
