Simple text entry from puavo (organization, school, device)
perhaps show the same info at webmenu window (messages)

GNOME already has this functionality, we just have to modify it a little to suit our needs.

Maybe one could also add some image update information like "phase 1/4: rdiffdownload 70%"

Something related in https://github.com/puavo-org/puavo-os/issues/338 / https://github.com/puavo-org/puavo-os/pull/726 - not quite sure if there should be some more general info, as most of the things mentioned here are already available in loginscreen nowadays, or just some extra puavo-conf changeable device specific message (if latter, something similar to the device deleted warning could probably be done).
